Varun Kaushik: Building a Production Identity in Mumbai

Varun Kaushik is an Indian filmmaker, writer and producer whose professional journey has developed across television, advertising, branded content and film production. Based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, he has worked in different areas of the entertainment industry before establishing his own production company, Varun Kaushik Films, in 2019.

Originally from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Kaushik moved to Mumbai to pursue opportunities in television and entertainment. He began his career working on television reality shows for established television networks. His early exposure to television production helped him become familiar with the fast-paced and collaborative nature of the media industry.

Following his television experience, Kaushik moved into commercial advertising and ad-film production. His professional work has covered a variety of formats, including television commercials, digital films, brand films, photography and digital content.
